In collaboration with Brisbane City Council and EKS
The Breakfast Creek Sports Precinct concept is a 29 hectare masterplan for the redevelopment of Crosby Park and the Albion Park Raceway to create a new sports precinct and centre for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games. Designed as a legacy project, the masterplan envisages ongoing community use beyond the Olympic events.
A green pedestrian spine will run through the centre of the precinct, providing space for community events and connecting Crosby Road with Breakfast Creek.
A new indoor sports centre will feature 12 indoor courts and include facilities for basketball, netball, volleyball, goalball and badminton, as well as dedicated para-sport facilities.
The masterplan includes additional seating for the Allan Border Field, a new location for the Brothers Rugby Union Club including new clubhouse and three new fields, new baseball and multi-use sports fields, a dog off-leash area and an innovate water harvesting and reclamation system.
